Hometown: Cardiff by the Sea, CA
Born and raised in California, Sarah learned to surf at a very young age, tandem surfing with her dad on his longboard at the age of 5. Growing up she fueled her passion by surfing with her family every morning before school. She developed her competitive drive on her high school surfing team, and has gone on to build an impressive resume in competitive surfing, winning the Oceanside Longboard Competition two years in a row (2014-2015), and placing third in the 2016 Women’s College Shortboard NSSA.
Beyond being a competitive surfer, Sarah is quite the multi-talented woman. She is also an ocean water lifeguard, touring musician, sailor, welder and metal fabricator, and a college student studying Biochemistry. Whether she’s shredding waves, lifeguarding the beaches in Encinitas, rebuilding old cars, or singing, she loves to learn, and her stoke is contagious.
