Nina is a rising star in kiteboarding. She started kiting at a very early age under the influence of her dad. Passionate and determined, she’s spent the last few years kiting non-stop, traveling, competing, and producing media. Her hard work is paying off, as she recently placed 3rd in the 2017 Junior World Cup. When there is no wind, Nina spends her time wakeboarding, snorkeling, surfing, skating or snowboarding.
What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
I’m currently doing my high school online. I’d say this takes a lot of commitment.
Favorite place to kiteboard?
Taiba, Brasil. It’s such a great spot, flat water lagoons, good wind, warm weather, the best sunsets, great sessions, delicious Açai and fantastic people!
Although my brother disagrees, others compliment my cooking skills.
I have a thing for dark chocolate and red pepper.
Travel around the world, visit many countries and the best kite spots.
Coolest thing you’ve seen while traveling?
On my first trip to Brazil I did one of the most beautiful dowinders ever. We went inside a river mouth, the water was like butter and the views were stunning! I loved it!
Favorite way to stay fit?
I love water sports and to be in the water as much as possible in my bikinis, kiting, snorkeling, wakeboarding, surfing, SUPing…
Five things you couldn’t live without?
My friends and family, my kites, dark chocolate, my computer and my cats.
